How it works

Yes, but we don't use road de-icing salt, you have your own private room with a specially designed float pod, and no need to wear duct tape goggles.
Do I need to bring anything?
Nope, just yourself. Towels, sandals, earplugs, and everything else you need are provided.
What if I'm claustrophobic?
It’s a common concern, but most first-time floaters are surprised by how spacious and calming the experience feels. Our tanks are designed with comfort in mind—you’re always in control of the light and lid, and you can exit at any time. Many people actually report feeling more expansive, not confined. Our float tanks are the longest available on the market. The float pods are probably much larger than what you're thinking. You are able to completely sit upright when you have the lid closed. People with claustrophobia consistently report no problems with floating, and you don't even have to close the lid.
Can I drown if I fall asleep?
Nope. Some people fall asleep, but the water is so buoyant you stay afloat. The worst that can happen is getting woken up by a bit of salt water in your eyes.
How are the tanks kept clean?
The highly sterile salt water is fully filtered three times between each float and is sanitized with UV light.
Do I need to wear a swimsuit?
Nope! We actually ask that you don't. Swimsuits can bind and pinch and distract from the sensory free experience. Birthday suit is best!
Is this new-agey mumbo jumbo?
Floating has been around for over 60 years, and has oodles of published research to back it up. No mumbo jumbo here!
