Cancellation Policy

Our float services are reserved especially for you. We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Should you need to cancel your float appointment less than 24 hours prior to its start time, a fee of $39 will be charged. "No call, no shows" will be charged 100% of the services scheduled. All late cancellations after accumulating 5 will be charge 100% of the services scheduled. If you are coming in with a gift certificate for services, the certificate will be marked as used. We are closed on Mondays, so Tuesday cancellations need to be done by 7:00 pm on Sunday. You can also cancel your own floats online through our online booking system as long is it's at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment. Please check weather forecasts, especially in the winter, and reschedule your float at least 24 hours in advance if predicted bad weather would cause you to not be able to travel here for your float.
Late Arrival Policy
.png)
We kindly request that you arrive no later than five minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Arriving late may result in a shortened appointment or, in some cases, a forfeited session, as we must ensure that the experience for other guests is not compromised. If you arrive more than ten minutes late, we may need to reschedule your float session. Unfortunately, we cannot shorten your session or delay subsequent appointments. If you arrive five minutes late without notifying us, we reserve the right to offer your float room to walk-in guests. To avoid any inconvenience, please make every effort to arrive on time. Additionally, we appreciate at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or modify your booking for any reason. We value your time and appreciate your respect for ours.
Are there any Age and Weight Limitations?
.png)
Floating is generally accessible to all ages and weights, offering physical and mental benefits to everyone. However, children might need more mental discipline for meditative floating. There's no upper age limit, allowing everyone to enjoy relief from persistent aches. Under 18's need a parent/guardian to sign an intake form for the first float, and those under 16 require parental presence during the float. Children under 5 are not permitted to float. If your child is under 12, it’s recommended to stay in the suite, where you may bring a folding chair for comfort. Our suites have bamboo benches suitable for short sitting periods. Those with mobility challenges must bring a helper for assistance, as our staff cannot help for liability reasons. As long as you can safely enter and exit the tank, floating is safe, but like any water-based service, caution is advised as floors can be slippery.
Are the float pods handicap accessible?
.png)
One of our float pod suites is ADA compliant. If you are in a wheelchair, getting in and out of the shower and float tank is largely dependent on the extent of your upper body function and strength. If you can lift yourself out of your wheel chair and into bed, for example, you may be able to lift yourself into the float tank, which is about two feet off the floor. Please bring a friend with you if you do not have good upper body mobility/strength because our staff is not allowed to touch guests for liability reasons. Your assistant can relax in either our lounge or in your float suite while you float. Please call us if you'd like to discuss this further.
Can I float with dyed hair or extensions?
.png)
If you have recently dyed your hair please wait until the color has set, often 4-6 weeks, especially if you have vivid color or use henna or an at-home dye kit. If there is dye coming off on your towel or in the shower the color will stain our fiberglass tub and our towels. The solution opens the cuticles on your hair and will pull the dye out more easily then when you take a bath or shower at home. Swim caps and shower caps are not enough to keep the dye out of the pool, the salt water seeps under the cap. There is a $1500 fee if the float solution (liquid magnesium) is contaminated or if the fiberglass tub is stained. If you have extensions or a weave, consult your hair stylist. People with extensions/weaves have noticed that it can loosen them. The main issue in keeping keratin bonded extensions in the hair is keeping sulfates away from the hair (epsom salt = magnesium SULFATE). Hair extensions that are glued or taped in are often not affected by the salt. To be on the safe side, schedule your float before your hair appointment.
Can I float while pregnant?
.png)
Float therapy is fantastic for mother and baby. Not only does floating give you time to connect deeply with the baby, it takes the pressure off your back and joints and sets you up for a great night’s sleep. We have extra props on hand, such as a neck doodle and pool noodles to provide the perfect amount of support exactly where you need it. We’ll also talk you through a few positions to try while floating. Note: It’s not recommended to float past 38 weeks, please check with your doctor if you have any concerns before booking.
Is there anyone who shouldn't float?
.png)
Floating is generally safe for most people, but there are some exceptions. Avoid floating if you have incontinence, uncontrolled epilepsy, open wounds, an infectious disease, are intoxicated, or have kidney issues. Those with heart conditions or severe medical concerns should consult their doctor. Wait three weeks after getting a tattoo before floating to ensure proper healing(Check with your tattoo artist). Henna hair coloring or tattoos are prohibited. If you have mobility challenges, bring someone to assist you, as our staff cannot help you for liability reasons. Ensure you can safely enter and exit the tank, as the floors may be slippery, similar to a pool or spa environment. Please take these precautions seriously, as our private suites do not have staff present during your float, and you float at your own risk.
